The Chevelle is probably one of the most iconic muscle cars to have ever been produced. 1965 would be the beginning of its now well told story. It had come out with a very potent 327 mouse motor with a respectable 350 HP which was very respectable. Naturally as things went in those days more was always better so naturally a 396 rat motor putting out an amazing 375 HP would have to be way better. It was but unfortunately only 201 would be released to the general public so finding one today is next to impossible. So what do you do when you have to have one, build it but only a little bigger and a little stronger? This 65 is exactly that, from the engine to the transmission to the rear end it is all just a little better. The exterior of the car is done in a very subtle light blue with a hint if metal flake giving it a true glimmer in the sun. The custom chrome wheels look great with 17's on the front and 18's on the back it gives the car that perfect stance. With what appears to be original sheet metal the fitment of the panels are within factory spec. Under the hood is the big block of big blocks, the 454 has been one of the go to pieces since taking the place of the 396. With a massive Holley 750 sitting on top of the high flow intake this big block is ready to run. The TH400 is one of the best transmissions and this one has only been made better.
