With its sleek looks and impressive performance for the times it's easy to see why all the magazines were raving about the car. The electronic dash with its LCD read out and sweeping gauges was simply unheard of in 1984. The information center with its MPG readings and miles left were all just stuff that you did not see in a sports car up to this point. This red beauty is a prime example of one that actually has those components and they work which is kind of hard to find now and days. The red interior is factory correct and looks as good as they come. The seats were actually just replaced along with the door panels giving this red on red C4 the cleanest interior I have seen. Now let's get to why you buy a Corvette because everyone knows it's not for their interiors. Under the hood is a potent and capable numbers matching engine with Chevy's high tech cross fire fuel injection. The first fuel injection available on a Corvette since 1965 and an absolute engineering marvel. This set up was really more of a necessity for 2 reasons, EPA and hood clearance. All of this stuff is great absolutely yet the coolest thing about this car has got to be the exceptionally unique Doug Nash 4+3 transmission.
