32 years ago from the German factory and now, as proof of German thoroughness, this VW Jetta CL is still in brilliant condition. The mileage of over 150 k is visible in the car. Drives, shifts and steers still grundlich. Soluble wear and tear you will see in the pictures, but nothing exciting. The Jettas were solid user cars in the 1980s, with proven reliable technique. That is precisely why there are not many preserved, ergo an extra argument to qualify as vintage car. The CL implementation offers a nice package of extras for that time.
