US$30,042.20 The Volvo Amazon was presented in 1956 to the public to be delivered for the first time in the early 57’s. The 123 GT was the more luxurious and sporty version of the series. This example was built in 1967 and is registered in The Netherlands since 1999. Body was overhauled a few years ago, resulting in a very good general condition of the car. Therefore the body is very solid with correct panelfittings. The underside of the car is in good condition as well. The car has the original color (no. 46) 'Ruby red' and the quality of the paint is good. The car comes with a well maintained black interior. Neat chrome, always well maintained and recently fitted with new tires. Technically overhauled some years ago, therefore perfectly working and driving. The Volvo 123 GT was the top model of the Amazon series with limited production numbers compared to other models. Due to its potent B18B engine with the popular overdrive this ‘rapid’ Amazon lends itself very well for (for example) classic rally’s. Particularly nice 123 GT!
