DOOMSDAYTONA
Price On Request DOOMSDAYTONAOne fateful day a young man laid down his Daytona 675 on the streets of Houston, Texas. Shaken but not stirred, he limped the bike home and parked it for a spell until stumbling across Classified Moto. There began project “Doomsdaytona”. Our customer, AJ, said he was tired of trying to enjoy a sport bike on the rough roads in his hometown. He wanted something a little more apocalyptic. The 675 is way more technologically advanced than most of our platform bikes, and, knowing our limitations, we agreed to leave alone the things that worked well while giving the machine a complete aesthetic transformation. First in our sights was the fuel tank. The large “wings” were shaved off and the sides reworked, resulting in some visual weight loss — and an actual loss in fuel capacity. To counter this we came up with an underseat auxiliary fuel tank that connects via quick release to the main tank to let the rider put a few more miles between him and the zombies. Big, knobby dual sport tires, motocross bars and a dual light setup round out the look. Oh, and the thing is still frighteningly fast, making the Doomsdaytona another reason not to mess with Texas.SPECIFICATIONSDONOR: 2011 Triumph Daytona 675FRONT END: Stock DaytonaFRONT WHEEL: Stock DaytonaFRONT BRAKES: Stock DaytonaREAR WHEEL: Stock DaytonaTIRES: Kenda Big BlockTANK: Modified Daytona with underseat auxiliary tank.EXHAUST: Stock Daytona to custom stainless pipe and mufflerGAUGE: Stock Daytona in custom housingSEAT: Custom upholstered, Roy Baird, RVABATTERY: Shorai Lithium IonCHAIN: DID gold X-Ring

XV920 2.0
Price On Request XV920 2.0After Bob Ranew let us sell his first bike out from under him, we endeavored to top it with a nicely updated version. Lighter, brighter and more polished than the original, the XV 2.0 is a little less hooligan and a bit more highbrow. Just like numero uno, this one has crazy torque, a truly pissed...

XV1100 THE SHAFT
Price On Request XV1100 THE SHAFTI’m not gonna lie. Of all the bikes we’ve built, this one was probably the least satisfying — for myriad reasons. Appearance-wise, I love it when a rider is in the saddle. When it’s just sitting there waiting — not so much. There are some really cool little features, like the tool roll compartment in...

XS750 YAMASAKI
Price On Request XS750 YAMASAKIFor your consideration is Adam Stockton’s 1978 XS 750 Special. Early this year, I made a trip to Virginia Beach to buy two bikes — a Honda Interceptor and Mr. Stockton’s Special. I picked up the latter from a guy who kept it in his living room. He tells me the project lost steam when his...

KZ650 KAWAZUKI
Price On Request KZ650 KAWAZUKIIt’s always risky business when you sell something to a friend. But this is one of those cases where all parties ended up pleased as punch. When our garage mate Devin Bousquet was ready for a few more CCs, he expressed an interest in one of three non-running 1978 Kawasaki KZ650 SRs that Greg and I...

XV750 RECIPROCITY
Price On Request XV750 RECIPROCITYBuilt for my good buddy and killer director Sunny Zhao, this bike could be considered Classified Moto No. 002. Sunny had seen my first effort — a 1980 XS850 — from working and hanging out around good old Richmond, Virginia, and he thought the look of it would fit into his movie “Reciprocity”. The film pitted...

KATEE’S KT675
Price On Request KATEE’S KT675Back in November of 2013, we went for a wild ride with actress Katee Sackhoff. Not only did we get to build her a bike, but we did it in front of the Café Racer TV cameras. Once the show aired we were bombarded with requests for replicas of Katee’s XL600R. And Katee being Katee, let...

NOVEMBER NIGHTHAWK GOLD
Price On Request NOVEMBER NIGHTHAWK GOLDFor the last couple of years, we’ve been on the hunt for a reliable build platform to carry us out of the XV era. Something in decent supply, reliable and with readily available parts. And also kind boring. We think we found it in the form of the Honda Nighthawk 750. The ‘90’s CBs weren’t...

KT675 TINY TERROR
Price On Request KT675 TINY TERRORAnother take on the two now-kinda-famous bikes we built for actress Katee Sackhoff, this one blends elements of both projects. Commissioned for self-proclaimed “Tiny Tower of Terror” Jeremy Anania, this one started life as a Honda XR650L destined for a bi-polar life of muddy logging roads and sketchy city commutes. These days the reborn KT675...

XS650 YAMAZUKI
Price On Request XS650 YAMAZUKIWhile is wasn’t our first build, CM photo wizard Adam Ewing’s “Yamazuki” is really the bike that started it all for Classified Moto. Our friend Cindy Hicks took it upon herself to submit some of Adam’s photos of his bike (and hers) to the Chris Hunter at the great BikeEXIF.com. Chris is famously picky about the...

XS650 LEFTY LUCY
Price On Request XS650 LEFTY LUCYWhen our garage mate Cindy Hicks decided to throw in the towel on her ’76 CB360T, she had a few simple demands for its successor. It had to have a red seat. It had to fit her “not-gonna-cut-it-in-the-NBA” inseam. And it had to match the taillight she bought on a whim while surfing the web...
