This estate is the most prominent in its locality and as such takes a leading role in the community. The picturesque surroundings are some of the most beautiful in the entire Bordeaux region. With 45 hectares of woodland and open space, it also boasts some of the best deer, boar, and pheasant hunting in the area. The main structure enjoys a stunning elevated position in the middle of 65 hectares of land, 20 hectares of which are currently used for wine production. There are an additional 5 hectares within the Appellation d'Origine Controlee (AOC) zone which could be planted by a new owner if desired. The wines produced are renowned, with many past wines winning a variety of prestigious awards. The seven-bedroom, 800 square metre chateau building dates back to 1782 whilst the property as a whole has its origins in the 13th Century.
