Electrical & Mechanical Equipment :
The generator is a westerbeke and rated at 8 kw. (589 hours)
The engine are located below the cockpit sole fitted with ZF V-drive transmissions and secured via flexible mounts to engine beds on the longitudinal stringers. The exhaust systems are wet and the surrounding areas are protected.
The 12 and vdc is supplied by battery source and the 120 vac is obtained from shorepower connection and 8kw inverter. The wiring, where accessible appears good and mostly loomed. There are areas where the rodents on board may be starting to eat the casing on the wires. The electrical systems are branch overload protected by fuses and breakers while being controlled from well labeled distribution panels.
