18th century mahogany longcase clock by John Parker of Liverpool with an eight day movement. Fine swept arch hood above an eagle finial, the face with a silver chapter ring showing Roman numerals, the upper section with phases of the moon retaining original decoration. As with so many clocks from Liverpool the veneers on the carcase wonderful quality with excellent figuring.
