The legendary Porsche 356 remains today one of the hallmarks of sports car design. With its unique profile and race-inspired lineage.

The 356 was the first production model ever produced by Porsche in 1948. It drew inspiration from the iconic VW Beetle with its design, however its precision build quality and attention to detail saw it marketed as a luxury sports coupe.

A few years later, the 356 SC model was released in 1964 as a top of the range version of their “C” model line. These coupes were the final instalment of the highly successful 356 model range and with the impending release of the new 911, Porsche wanted to finish on a high note and thus created their most powerful production engine for the SC model. The new 1600cc engine produced 97bhp with a top speed of 185km/h.
