At first look, the 360 Degree Chair and Stool is somewhat befuddling: it looks sort of like a chair, but not quite. Is something missing? Dynamic, active, and constantly moving, Konstantin Grcic's unique design differs from most chairs because its shape does not encourages long or static sitting. Instead, the 360 Degree Chair encourages its user to shift frequently and challenge the very purpose of a chair and of what it means to sit. After a test, a writer for Icon magazine reported that "sitting on it in a traditional way is the least successful approach-you feel a vertiginous sensation that everything that should be there isn't."
