Chateau 1763-
Erected in 1763 by Jean-Baptiste Bgon, Receveur Gnral des Finances de Montauban by the architect Jean-Baptiste Collet Contrleur des Batiments du Roy & Collaborator of Soufflot.
The Property was bought in 1778 by Antoine-Laurent de Lavoisier (1743-1794) the famous scientist, philosopher and economist. Despite his enormous contribution to progress and modernism he was finally guillotined in 1794 as "Fermier Gnral".
The chapel was added around 1830 on the side of the chateau.
