This exceptional castle is located just outside a small village in Indre, in the heart of George Sand country. Totally renovated, it is listed as an historic monument (some outbuildings are also listed). It has a surface area of 1000 m² and 22 rooms including 9 bedrooms. 4.4 acres of land and many outbuildings : ramparts, curtain walls, towers, galleries.

The castle has an elevated position above the garden and can be accessed either via the terrace with its grand staircase or through the door of honor overlooking the reception hall. The original square-shaped fortress has lost one of its towers and the castle has two wings with a tower on each corner.
