“English Longbow”

Price On Request

The final bow in the series, "English Longbow" was inspired by bows found in the shipwreck of The Mary Rose King Henry VIII flagship, which sank in 1545 on its way to defeat a French invasion force, taking all 500 sailors down with her. The medieval longbows found in the wreck are the only ones known in existence, and this specific type of bow is thought to have been used to defeat the French at Agincourt in 1415\\. The originals would have been made from yew or elm, though this one is made in Osage Orange, a species native to North America.
