A strong and vibrant Stafford image harking back to his Northern roots. This depiction of Liverpool docks is lively and fun, the harbour is busy with boats, ships & people. Auntie Dot & Trixie are there cartwheeling around the harbour, brawny seamen take care of their vessels and the little steam engine St. Simeon chugs around the harbour wall. This is a lovely example of Simeon Stafford's work and brings an immediate smile to the face.
