This is a special boutique edition of 100 numbered pieces made for Singapore's boutique located in Orchard Road. Hence nicknamed "Orchard Rd" & this is signed on the back cover. The watch is very heavy due to the solid Tantalum case while the auspicious no.8 on the dial is painted in red, a national colour for Singapore.
This is a highly collectible Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph & one of the earlier boutique edition. It was released in 2007 & very well received, only VIPs were able to get their hands on one due to the high demand & the watches were immediately traded for premium prices.
This watch was simply kept away after purchasing it new from the Singapore AP boutique by the owner, it's part of a collection and was somehow forgotten. It was presented to us completely sealed with the price tag on the back cover & we had to remove the plastic to re-wrap it. This watch was "over-subscribed" when it was launched & they were trading for well above list price @ S$45K+/- within months after it's launch. This is a sold-out model & probably the only piece left in the world that's unused.
