Popular in the late 18th through the late 19th century, day and night earrings allow the wearer to have one pair of earrings which serve a dual purpose~ Semi formal daytime wear, and formal evening wear. In beautiful condition, these earrings date to the mid 19th century and are crafted in 18 karat gold. These earrings feature beautifully enameled flowers in rich navy blue, and white along with detailed hand carving and hand engraving. Earrings measure 1 inches in length in daytime format, and 2 1/4 inches in length in their nighttime format. Earrings have a combined weight of 3.9 grams making them very comfortable to wear.
