PRODUCT INFORMATION

DETAILED PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a very beautiful Omega Seamaster 30 dating back to 1963 & 50years of age has shown little wear to it. The 30 signifies the 30mm size of the movement which is a rather large calibre even in present days for a time-only manual wound calibre. The Seamaster was created in 1948 and this model was introduced in 1962 and the hippocampus logo is engraved onto the back cover. The original dial has little ageing to the edges and overall some spotting which adds to the authenticity and presents very well. The case is free from any signs of corrosion and upon opening there is virtually no rust found among the threading while the original aged gasket can be seen, a testament of very careful or little use over the decades. The pink gold gilt movement is an in-house manufacture calibre 286 sporting 17jewels, shock resistant protection with an in-direct seconds bridge and is fresh as new, another positive sign that this watch was only in good hands and never abused.
