This is one of the best from this lot, a vintage Omega dating back to 1958 and housed in a solid 14ct yellow gold heavy case. It measures a generous 35mm across with a bubble pan-like back cover. The case is only lightly polished with the original factory brushed finish still visible on the lugs while the 14ct squirrel hallmark on the 11 o'clock lug is well preserved. A sign of cherished and light use over the last 60yrs. The pink gold gilt movement shines with a proud sheen under light and is an absolute beauty to admire.
The only downside is the dial has been restored but professionally done with sharp print over a lovely matt ivory base & the appliqué gold markers are carefully restored so they sparkle under light. Overall, a very pleasing vintage watch in excellent condition and a fresh dial. It will be difficult to find another with such a good case and movement.
