This is an antique refectory table dating to the beginning of the 19th century.

- Raised on beautifully carved baluster legs united by an 'H' stretcher and resting upon bun feet, this piece offers a solid and stabile surface ideal as a serving table, hall table or perhaps a sewing table with it's slightly lower than normal height.

- The deep relief carving to the legs display rosettes to the lower square sections and foliate cups and caps separated by simple ring turnings.

- The planked top displays wonderful grain detail in the deep, rich tones of the English oak and carries all the hallmarks of a life in service with a sought after patina and color.

The pegged joints offer solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
