Antique 19th Century Victorian solid silver four piece tea and coffee set, consisting of tea pot, coffee pot, sugar bowl and cream jug, each pear shaped body engraved with scrolling foliage, cast scroll feet and each side engraved with family motto, 'Vincere Vel Mori' - translated Win or Die / To conquer or die, McDowell Clan Crest. Each part is Hallmarked English silver (925 Standard), London, year 1854 (J), Maker's mark WH (William Hunter)
