Antique early-20th Century Victorian solid silver stirrup cup, the head realistically cast as a snarling fox, with ears pricked, eyes wide open, plain collar and richly gilt interior. Victorian stirrup cups modelled as foxes are extremely rare and sought. Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1901 (f), Maker's mark TSWSHH (Holland, Aldwinckle & Slater)
