**Our Stock # LFA-1485**This is an antique, Victorian side table dating to the late 19th century, circa 1870. - A superior example, the burr walnut grain detail is exquisitely displayed in the quarter veneered, book-matched top. A carved moulded edge in a contrasting darker tone features a reciprocating foliate detail around the perimeter above the shallow, plain frieze. - Riding upon the original, white, ceramic castors, the four cabriole legs display carved foliate detail to the knees with typical scrolled toes and are united by a turned stretcher with central bulb featuring carved detail. - The tapering column supports are a delight with bell detail overhanging the lower and upper shank, footed with inverted finials and richly decorated with carved foliate detail.
