Yotei which can be taken in from any resort around Niseko, Hirafu village- home to many small restaurants having freshly cooked seafood and Japanese cuisine and the presence of one of the most stunning rivers in Japan. Niseko is the place to be if you want to escape the stresses of life and enjoy the full epic thrill of another world. Here are reasons why you should visit Niseko more than once in your lifetime.

Activities and events

Once you get to Niseko, your schedule will fully pack with exciting activities which include Heli-skiing, snowmobiling, onsens, cat skiing snowshoeing and you may even get the chance to attend the Sapporo ice Festival which takes place in February. Although snowboarding and skiing are the main activities in the area, you can also indulge yourself in horse rides through the wintry pristine countryside.

Accommodation

There’s nothing as good as getting a ski-in-ski-out service in your accommodation and Niseko offers you such. It merely means you can suit up and ski from your apartment which will be located at the top of the mountain. Other accommodations come with the quality mineral-rich onsens -spring water sipping deep below Mt. Yotei. This help to sooth the body after long hours of skiing and exposure in the chilly snow. Just be aware not to enjoy it.

Restaurants

The presence of Hirafu village provides a wide array of choices when it comes to dining and sampling of traditional Japanese dishes and international dishes as well. The meals range from a fusion of classical French and Japanese dishes to steak and even burgers and pizzas. The little heaven is also home to some of the international hotels such as The Hilton Niskeo village, Northern Resort Annupuri and much more. These hotels plus the bars and restaurant provide an epic nightlife for fabulous parties and get together. Top three restaurants in Niseko include the following: Bang, A Bu Cha 2nd, and Ezo Seafood. Apart from the top class menu of both local and international dishes, the three restaurants come with private onsens, indoor and outdoor onsens and ski- in-ski-out features and state of the art concierge services.

Lessons and rentals

In case you don’t know how to ski and forgot to carry your gear, fear not. Lessons and rental services for equipment are offered at the Niseko Base Snow sports. It’s even better because the place comes with English speaking instructors and this eases the language barrier for most tourist.

Lift Passes

Niseko comes with the added advantage of enjoying the view from the lifts as you travel from one mountainside to another and through the steep terrain of the mountain. There are four different places on the mountain to get the passes for the lift.

Endless exploration

The massive amount of snowfall allows for the extensive epic exploration of the mountain and best place to take amazing photographs. The skiing also comes with new tracks which are challenging than others around the world, and this adds to the thrill.

It is beyond doubt that Niseko is the eighth wonder of the world when it comes to skiing and for all the ice enthusiasts out there, make a point of enjoying the spectacle that springs from Niseko.
