A fine pair of English hallmarked silver & cut glass claret jugs 1903 in date, with exceptional strawberry cutting to the glass bodies of the jugs. Both the jugs are fully hallmarked on the silver collar and inside the lids. The claret jugs are also fully marked on the underside of the lids showing that they were originally retailed by LEUCHARS & SON of Paris this company were renowned for offering the finest items money could buy during the late 19th early 20th century. Height of the jugs 8 inches. A full size 75cl bottle of wine fills each jug to around 3/4.
