The Aberfeldy distillery resides up in the Scottish Highlands, and has been producing whisky since 1896. They draw the water used for their yummy single malt from the Pitlie Burn, which is also well known for its gold deposits. Tasting notes:

Nose: Honey-nut cereals with a good splash of milk, golden syrup and lightly browned toast.
Palate: Granola bars and warm porridge topped with fresh honey and dried fruit.
Finish: Oak spice builds, with a final sweet spark of golden syrup.
