Neverending Glory Metropolitan Opera

The famous "sputnik" chandeliers of New York's Metropolitan Opera House were the inspiration for this hand-blown glass fixture from Lasvit. Designers Jan Plechác and Henry Wielgus distilled the original metal and crystal constellations to their essence by making an outline of the Met's central chandelier and then rotating that silhouette to create a three-dimensional shape.
