1957 Austin A35 Speedwell

US$51,120.70

Built by an F1 engineer over a four year period using new parts wherever possible, this has to be one of the best prepared A35 race cars in existence. In Speedwell trim, with a comprehensive specification including:

- Bare metal nut and bolt rebuild with a full photographic record. Strengthened and lightened chassis. Full safety equipment.
- 140 bhp 1293 engine with steel bottom end and Swiftune head, one race since Lester Owen rebuild.
- Ribbed gearbox with Jack Knight straight cut gears. Salisbury LSD.
- Race developed suspension and brakes.

Successfully campaigned by Jason Minshaw and Simon Crompton in HRDC's Touring Greats series over the past 12 months, this lovely example would be an ideal entry for the Goodwood Revival in 2017.

Complete with a spare rebuilt gearbox, two spare diffs and two spare sets of wheels. The car is also fully road legal and has a current V5 and Heritage Certificate.
