This genuine John Player Special 5 Speed has been competed very successfully by its current owner for the past 15 years, including Tour Auto, Tour Britannia, Mont Ventoux, HSCC Roadsports and CSCC Swinging Sixties.

Recently rebuilt on a new Lotus chassis. Fitted with a 170 bhp all steel Racing Fabrications big valve twin cam and CTS 5 speed gearbox, both of which were rebuilt only a couple of events ago. Tony Thompson suspension set up with adjustable alloy dampers. Alloy radiator, oil cooler and Red Top battery. Currently sitting on its original KN alloys with a spare set of Minilites with tyres.

Complete with old style FIA papers and currently in FIA homologated specification. However the spares package includes a full rear disc conversion kit for use when competing in non-FIA events; also a spare 4 speed gearbox.
