US$8,041.74 This beautiful Rover P4 comes from 1961, type 100.This model has the 6 cylinder 2.6 litre head/side valve engine which is known for the quiet and low idle run. The combination of a single "SU" carburettor, "SU" electric fuel pump and Lucas distributor was applied by many other brands and models and proved to be a reliable combination. A well-tuned 6 cylinder engine is known for its fast start. This car is perfect; by turning the ignition key the engine starts right away.The interior is luxurious, with real leather, wooden dashboard and door panels, chrome edges around the counters, also the standing, curved "Shepherds Crook" handbrake is typical and practical at the same time. The chrome, curved shifter controls a 4-speed transmission with an overdrive that makes it possible to drive at a "modern", higher cruising speed with a much lower rotational speed, all of this by the simple operation of a small lever on the steering column.
