1965 Ford Mustang GT350 Tribute 289 CID V8 Automatic
US$47,995.00
For sale in our Chicago showroom is a jaw-dropping 1965 Ford Mustang GT350 Tribute. This red beauty was brought to life in Dearborn Michigan and has been transformed into the Shelby GT350 tribute you see before you. In 1965 Carroll Shelby created the first GT350 race car as a hardtop in white with blue striping. Fast forward 15 years and Shelby was at it again but this time on a more personal level building a handful of GT 350s for family members and finishing them in red with white striping. This vehicle as been recreated to honor the legend of the master of Mustangs and will not disappoint. Featuring a refreshed 289 CID V8 with a 4bbl Holley carb and headers this thing is ready to move. Power is transferred to the 8" rear end via a smooth shifting rebuilt C4 automatic transmission. New brakes feature front disc with rear drums and a SSBC brake booster. The interior has been fully restored back to the original style and is a true joy to sit in. Attention to detail was not missed on any items and all of the brakes, electrical, chrome, paint and stainless trim have been restored or replaced making this car finished and ready to show and go. Options on this '65 Pony include power steering, power brakes, power convertible top, Tony Branda Roll Bar, flowmaster muffflers, Crager Shelby-style wheels with Pirelli tires and GT 350 body graphics.
