US$18,995.00 This 1976 Chevrolet Corvette is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1976 was a year for changes in many things, the ABA is no longer, casinos are legal in Atlantic City NJ, and the Vietcong was abolished. The Corvette on the other hand went the other way with the if isn't broke don't fix it attitude and would prove to be a good theory with sales topping 46000 units but only 2000 of those equipped with a 4 speed. This 76 is one of those highly sought after M21's that are so hard to find. The white paint shines nicely showing off the body which appears to be in excellent shape. Under the hood is the original L48 engine that has been meticulously maintained having its routine maintenance done religiously. The radiator was replaced a couple years ago keeping this small block nice and cool. Speaking of cool, the AC compressor was replaced less than a year ago so no worries on those hot days. Unfortunately you couldn't get a convertible in 76 but with the T Top option you get the best of both worlds. The T Tops in this one are in excellent shape with the seals locking down nice and tight. The red interior looks great and is in excellent condition considering it is 40 years old. The seat cushions still have plenty life left as they do not slouch a bit. With the C3 market seeing a slight gain in pricing now is probably the best time to buy one before they start skyrocketing to where they were before.
