The aptly named NorthWest Edition featured a muscle car appearance with black hoods, dual chrome lock pins, dual racing mirrors and rocker panel stripes. Three factory special colors were available; Oregon Orange, Washington Green and the stunning Pacific Blue. While 601 N/W Torino's were planned only 395 were built, five of which received the 429ci engine and of the five only one was constructed with the C-code Cobra Jet 429. The 1970 Ford Torino NorthWest Edition 429 Cobra Jet featured here is finished in stunning Pacific Blue with a gorgeous black interior. This exquisite, one off example is the only one fitted from the factory with a Cobra Jet 429 engine. The Torino is still equipped with its original tags located on the engine, transmission and rear differential verifying it as a numbers matching example.
