This unique Jaguar now presents in ‘Old English White’ over a beautifully contrasting Red leather interior and is in excellent condition after a ‘no expense spared’ detailed restoration. This SE (Special Equipment) variant boasts an upgraded inline-6 engine, producing 20hp more than the standard model. The power is delivered through a 4-speed manual transmission, making the vehicle an absolute pleasure to drive. With a production date of the 13th January 1954, this example was originally delivered to the H R Martindale dealership in Leeds, United Kingdom on January 28th 1954.Arriving in Melbourne, Australia sometime between 1982-1985 it underwent a light interior restoration where it saw beautifully new re-trimmed seats and upholstery as well as wired- wheels to highlight its immaculate paintwork. Subsequently, it was bought in 1990 by a new owner in WA where it was first registered.Accompanying this vehicle is an original Owner’s manual/Service book, tool kit and jack, Heritage certificate, spare wheel and a well-documented history on the vehicle since released. As one of the most collectable cars of all time, the XK120 was a milestone vehicle for the Jaguar brand.
