George III Bureau Bookcase Of Large Proportions

For sale is a good quality George III Mahogany Bureau Bookcase. The bookcase top has two astregal glazed doors, opening to reveal adjustable shelves. Below this is a fall front, opening to a fully fitted interior consisting of various drawers, pigeon holes and a cupboard. The bureau also has four graduated drawers. The piece stands on ogee feet and is in good condition, with minor wear commensurate with age and use. Width: 50.75" Depth: 25" Height: 92.25" Internal depth: 12" FB Antiques, long standing members of LAPADA (London and Provincial Antique Dealers Association), has been established since 1960 in London and had three shops supplying the home and overseas trade. We relocated from London 30 years ago to Rayleigh in Essex, to a 40,000 sqft warehouse from which we shipped approximately 120 containers a year. 5 years ago we downsized to our storage premises in Rettendon Essex, and now operate from our 15,000 sqft showroom and workshops, still supplying home and overseas trade as well as many members of the general public.
